Country superstar Kenny Chesney is always mixing genres up, by pulling in an array of A-list talent to perform with him. Last year during CMA week he played with The Wailers & Kid Rock at Tootsies . This year, Dave Matthews will be joining Kenny for “country music’s biggest night.”

Kenny and Dave will perform “I’m Alive,” which they recorded together for Chesney’s Lucky Old Sun album. The song was originally recorded by Willie Nelson. The Matthews/Chesney duet is the current single from Chesney’s Greatest Hits, Vol. 2.

The 43rd annual CMA Awards will be held on Wednesday, November 11th. Tickets are still available through Ticket Master or at the Sommet Center.
