Country singer Dierks Bentley has a grin that was hard to miss Sunday. That’s because he & his wife Cassidy welcomed their first child, Evalyn Day Bentley Saturday night.

I caught up with Dierks just hours later at his annual Miles & Music for Kids Benefitting the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

He said Cassidy & his little girl were doing well, recovering at Vanderbilt. I asked if it was too early to be thinking of baby number two.

“My baby is only 12 hours old and I already feel like I’m missing moments, so I think there will probably be more kids,” he explained.
