Halloween Hasn’t Already Passed?

Every year the older kids head out the Saturday before Halloween to celebrate a night of undercover debauchery. This year however, I have already dressed up three times and Halloween isn’t until today. I’m already spent, but you must check out these three slideshow pic’s!

Festivities kicked off Friday night with Trick or Skeet at Layl’a Ultra Lounge. In the end this may have been the party of the weekend, with the most unique costumes and fun! Check out the human plastic looking Barbie, Ronald McDonald’s fabulous make-up job and Edward Scissorhands. My b.f. and I just wore wigs.

Saturday night we stopped by a couple of house parties and ultimately ended up at the big Gulch fiasco. Check out the guys from A Clockwork Orange, the unique Harry Potter couple and the scary gorilla. My b.f, and I were Bret Michaels and Heather from Rock of Love.

We stopped by City Hall and Bar 23 for the party in The Gulch late night, where some five-thousand other party goers were. Girls were scantily clad, mermaids had crazy eyes and guys just looked too pretty with eyeliner!

Alison Krauss, Robert Plant & Jessica Simpson…

Sounds like an odd mix, but while Jessica Simpson was in town she checked out the filming of CMT’s Crossroads at The Mill in Lebanon.Simpson was spotted sitting near the front with Holly Williams.Jessica Harp was also in attendance as Alison Krauss & Robert Plant performed.

Sunset Tan Shoots in Nashville~

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket The cast of E!’s Sunset Tan was recently spotted hopping around town shooting an upcoming episode. They were seen at the tan convention, at the Wildhorse Saloon, at Tootsies, The Stage, and two full days at a Franklin ranch.

Nashvillian Skippy (pictured with Janelle) was a ranch hand.

Skippy also just got a cut on Celine Deon’s upcoming album. Congrat’s!

My Bo’s B-day~

My man celebrated his birthday at Nashville’s newest hot tequila bar Agave. We had a nice table on the patio full of good pals!

Agave Already Slammed~

The latest craze is Agave in The Gulch. The bar was packed, even during the soft opening weekend.

Tequila, girls climbing ladders and old wrestling movies makes for a combo that’s hard to beat. I tried several items on the menu that were delish and loved sitting on the open patio.

The bar is a project is that of several music industry veterans Ken Levitan, Chris Ferran and Ross Schilling (pictured), along with developers Steve Armistead and Bill Barkley and party king Scott Sherill (pictured).

So, it’s no surprise that in just a matter of days Lil John, Kid rock, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Pickler and a slew of other celebs have stopped in. These pic’s are from the first weekend. Sean Bertrand celebrated his birthday, while Erica Hoyt of the show Nashville was in the house!

Pumpkin Smash~

Dan Birdwhistle of Nashtown threw a pumpkin shindig at his hacienda in Germantown. I didn’t carve, but I did bake the delicious salted seeds!

Musicians, writers, entertainers and artists of all sorts squeezed on the balcony to dig in on their pumpkin. My favorite was the shaved skeleton.

The night ended in mush, with most folks throwing their pumpkin heads on the street.

Pumpkin Parties!

Yes- 2 in one week! I carved the star pumpkin at Marah & Katie’s party. The Jason mask is so much better and my pumpkin is already rotted.

Kanye’s After Party!

Kanye West hit up the Wildhorse Saloon Friday night, after playing to a sold out crowd of nearly 10,000 fans for Vanderbilt’s homecoming. The Wildhorse Saloon has broadened its spectrum of artists this year and pulling in number 1 rapper Kanye West proves it.

Kanye arrived around one so maybe that’s why the crowd was so thin. It could have also been the fact that so many clubs mispromoted the after party. Either way, I was fortunate enough to be one of maybe a hundred at the large venue.

Kanye hung in the VIP while a few artists performed and then a fashion show took over the stage. He closed the party down around three with a brief comment on the mic.

Kanye was a true sweetheart…allowing me to snap his pic and offering for me to jump in it. Afterwards he scrolled through every pic in my camera and chatted about them, which included the Halloween fashion show, a pumpkin party, photos from The Legendary Shack Shakers show and several bad shots of his own show. Oh well!

Jessica Simpson Seen All Over the City!

Jessica Simpson is in Music City working on a her next album, which I am told has “country flair.”

The blonde bombshell made her rounds all over town Wednesday. She was spotted around seven O’Clock at Sunset Grill for a Sony party. A little later she dined at Watermark in the gulch, then she popped into Sambuca for a bit, next stop Exit In for Rick Brantley and Chris Janson’s show and then she rolled into Agave. As previously reported, earlier in the day she had lunch at The Palm. Shwoo…girl has to be tired!

Jessica was rolling around town in a black SUV. She indiscreetly walked into Agave around eleven-thirty with about three people and headed straight back to a semi-private table.

Word is she may be making the move to Nashville! If you see Jessica or any other stars out and about Email Me!

Kid Rock & Hank Kick it at New Spot!

After Hank Williams Jr. was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Sunday night his crew headed to the new hot spot in town, Agave.

While Agave hasn’t officially opened its doors, the soft open weekend was packed every night. Sunday night Hank Williams Jr., Kid Rock, Gretchen Wilson, Holly Williams Chris Janson, Ken Levitan of Vector Management and publicist to the stars Kurt Webster were among the VIP guests mingling in the crowd.

Hank and Kid Rock appeared to be having a serious heart to heart.
